We develop software for self-service checkouts, implement our own Smartix software for self-checkouts. Our solution fully meets the requirements of food and non-food retail. We are ready to refine any modules and implement additional features at request.
Self-service checkout software – Storefront
Smartix kiosks support all the capabilities of modern web technologies, allow displaying any content on the device, including websites, product or service storefronts, interactive elements.
Client adds the desired product or service to the cart and pays for it in the interface. Cart editing, selection of additional options, recommendation of up-sell and cross-sell offers are supported.
Scanning
Smartix self-service checkouts are used by the customers for scanning product items with barcode or QR code one by one. After checking or changing the product cart, payment is made.
Customers can quickly pay invoices by simply bringing the QR code or barcode from the invoice to the self-service checkout scanner.
Paying invoices
Support for payment of invoices with barcodes and QR codes or by manually entering the invoice number
- Simple payment of invoice, client only needs to bring the document to the scanner of the self-service kiosk
- Data on product items is requested from an external system
- The device screen displays order data, number of goods and services and total cost
Payment methods
Smartix software supports various payment methods:
- Bank card via POS terminal
- Cash with change dispense if kiosk is equipped with bill acceptor and dispenser
- Gift certificates and any external payment methods
Support for local fiscal equipment and cloud fiscalization services. It is possible to provide buyer with selection of receipt type – printed or electronic (SMS, e-mail).
Support for loyalty systems
Smartix software supports operations with loyalty systems. User can gain and write off points towards the total receipt for a basket of goods. To write off points client may need to be authorized with SMS confirmation at the self-service device.
System requests an SMS, code is sent and confirmed by user, shopping cart is recalculated in accordance with applied points and they are written off as payment.
Software supports several types of authorization, including phone number and if device has a scanner, loyalty cards based on barcodes or QR codes, which can be scanned from a mobile application or printed on plastic.
If user started paying with loyalty points and for some reason decided to cancel the transaction, system supports rollback, in this case points will be returned along with the payment amount.
Integration with accounting systems
System core supports the ability to integrate with any accounting systems.
We are ready to provide information exchange with the customer’s selected accounting system at request.
Additionally, it is possible to work without an accounting system when all goods are entered on the Smartix side.
